Moonflower and Owl depicts the beautiful eastern Barn Owl and night flowering plants Moonflower, Night Flowering Jasmine and Evening Primrose in an imagined moonlit landsape.

Painted in layers of watercolours and a range of blues and green which allow the bright white of the owl and moonflower to glow. Finished with delicate pen and ink line work to hold the image together whilst creating small shapes of varying colours and textures.

Painted on 600gsm cotton rag watercolour paper with deckled edges suitable for float framing.
