Pretty Poppies is an original six colour reduction linocut on paper. Part of a limited edition of 10 original handpulled lino prints.

Poppies are a beautiful flower to draw and one of the most popular flowers in the world. They are depicted here in a simple still life which emphasizes the beauty of linocut as a medium. The process of reduction linocut means layers of colour are printed between carving sessions, removing a bit more lino each time, it also means the artwork is richly layered and textured.

Delicately carved the lino is printed with beautiful colours on bright white 300gsm cotton rag paper.

The artwork measures 20x30cm and is numbered, titled and signed on the border, it is sold unframed.
