Corrina, Greek for maiden is a watercolour and ink painting inspired by the Art Nouveau style.

A ring of correa flowers encircle the head of the female figure whose clothing is filled with a pattern of Grevillea flowers.

Black ink linework hold the elements together while dissecting them into colour-filled shapes. Washes of subtle and rich watercolour add texture and tone.

Painted on 300gsm cotton rag watercolour paper with archival quality ink and watercolours.
