Description

Wildflower season in WA has inspired this colourful artwork. A beautiful ringneck parrot takes pride of place surrounded by donkey orchids, Grevillea, Bottlebrush, Billy buttons, fringe lilies, flowering gums, wattle and Banksia leaves.

There is a balance of bold and intricate linework on top of textured and light filled watercolour washes. Watercolour washes fill the spaces created by the ink line work and makes the piece look like stained glass.
