Description

A majestic female Red Tailed Black Cockatoo adorns the arched vase holding a bouquet of native flowers. Banksia, Bottlebrush, kangaroo paw, wattle and gumnuts make up the bouquet.

Each element is stylized and depicted in strong bold shapes filled with washes of colour.

Watercolour washes fill the spaces created by the ink line work and makes the piece look like stained glass. The ink line work picks out each element of the image with an overlay of organic expressive lines to hold it all together.
