Description

Still life is something I enjoy painting, creating vases with imagined patterns and sometimes tablecloths, in this case a delicately patterned vase with tiny flowers against a bold striped tabelcloth.

This painting is lightly textured and has expressively painted transparent and opaque areas of colour. Stylized Silver Princess gum flowers flow from the vase and grevillea and eucalyptus leaves fill the space above and around the vase.

Painted on a cradled wooden board it can be hung as is or framed. The edges are painted white.

The board measures 40.5cm (W) x 50.7cm (H) x 2cm (D)

Painted with artists quality acrylics and finished with a satin varnish
